Time is limited, use it wisely!

From the day we were born, we have been granted a wonderful gift from heaven, the gift of having time to experience this amazing, beautiful, magic, extraordinary and sometimes complicated life, but the time we have is limited and there is no way we can extend it.

The bad news is time flies, the good news is you are the pilot.

Life is an amazing gift, and so it is our precious time, without it we would not be able to be here to enjoy this wonderful experience to be alive. The problem with us is we are living our life as if it were endless, and so we waste our precious time as if we were able to recharge our life with more hours like we do in a shop with our mobile phone when we run out of credit, but time is something we cannot get back. So we should ask ourselves: How am I going to spend my time?, Am I going to enjoy every second of it or am I going to waste all of my time on this planet doing the things I don’t want to do?

Our time on earth is uncertain which gave us the wrong idea that we have enough time and so we waste most of our time doing what we don’t want in order to be able to buy our freedom later, so we can finally do what we always wanted to do. The truth is that most people’s hearts stop beating before they have been finally free to enjoy their lives, because there are only a few who have dared to release the chains of oppression and live free to follow their hearts and live a happy life.

The problem with us is that we are always too busy doing the things we don’t want to do rather than being too busy doing those things we love to do and that’s why there is so much sadness and depression in human hearts, because we have agreed to be slaves of the society in which we live. A society that has taught us that spending our time working in someone else’s dream is good, and spending our time following our heart is bad. We have fallen in to the trap of thinking that spending our time doing what we don’t want is good because we get a reward for it; a miserable reward that most of the time consists in a charity and a few days off granted by those for whom you work for.

It is amazing how we have accepted the fact that life can only be truly lived on weekends, holidays, and special days. It is sad how we spend most of our time doing what we don’t want, having always excuses for not doing what we always wanted to do. It is incredible how we are always too busy making a living that we forget to live our lives, we forget to enjoy our family and friends, we forget to have time for ourselves doing the things we love, we forget about our goals and dreams for being too busy doing other less important things.

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.” – Harvey Mackay

When was the last time you did something you love? When was the last time you enjoyed the company of your family, your children or your friends? When was the last time you traveled to a new and different place? When was the last time you did something exciting? When was the last time you enjoyed a good chat with a friend? When was the last time you truly enjoyed the fact of being alive?

There is a true fact: We are truly happy when we spend our time doing the things we love, and so we should spend most of our time being happy doing the things we love and no the other way around. So, there are 24 hours in a day that means we have 168 hours per week or between 720 and 744 hours per month, and that will be around 8760 hours a year to enjoy the small and big things that this world has to offer. Life is short and time goes really fast, and we should spend most of our time being happy living the life of our dreams. Don’t you dare to waste another second of your life doing what you don’t want, remember that wasted time doesn’t come back, but the good news is that you still have time!

So go out my friend and enjoy your life, don’t waste it being sad and depressed, there is no time to be sad, there is only time to be happy!
