Visualization: A Great Tool for Success

Visualization is a mental process that makes real our deepest dreams and goals through our imagination, that is to say, it pictures in our minds what we would like to achieve in our outside world. Visualization creates in our own minds the life of our dreams, and if we are able to achieve it in our own minds, we can achieve it in our real life.

Visualization is more powerful than we think, because it actually helps us to create the positive outcomes we would like to achieve in our lives. When you are able to see in your mind your dreams and goals as something that already happen, you are able to create the life of your dreams and make everything a reality. Visualization is not only a way of dreaming, but it is a way of making your dreams and goals come true.

Every successful person has used the tool of visualization either consciously or unconsciously. For instance, visualization is very used in sports, many athletes have visualized themselves as having already achieved the positive outcomes they would like to achieve in the real life. Day after day these people imagine themselves as already being victorious, they constantly visualize in their minds the victory, they see it, they feel it as if they already were in that glorious moment, and that together with training, commitment and perseverance is what makes them achieve in their life the outcomes they already imagine in their own minds. For example, the boxing legend Muhammad Ali was always aware of the importance of visualization. He always pictured himself as being victorious before every fight.

When we visualize something, we are able to see it as real in our mind, and when we are able to see something then we are able to believe in it. It is proved that our brain cannot see the difference between a visualized image and reality, that is why when we think about something that we would like to happen, we feel the emotions and feelings as if it were already real.  That is why visualization is so powerful, because it makes already real that we haven’t experienced in our physical world yet.

Visualization is not magic, it is not like you will imagine something with your eyes closed, and when you open your eyes it will already be there, but visualization is a great tool that you can use together with commitment and perseverance to succeed. When you visualize, your brain understands what you imagine as already being real and then it gives you the right emotions, feelings and beliefs what will help to form your habits and behaviours. Therefore, visualization will help you develop the right habits, skills, and behaviours in order to make your dreams and goals become a reality in your outside world.

There is a good example of visualization that always inspire me: The actor Jim Carrey used the power of visualization when he was struggling to become an actor, he wrote himself a check for the amount of $10 million for “his acting service rendered” and years later he got the same amount for his role in Dumb and Dumber. That’s amazing, isn’t it? That is what happens when you hold in your mind the greatest vision about yourself and your life. When you visualize your dream, every time you can, and you do everything you can in order to achieve your goals and dreams, miracles occur. In my case, when I was younger, I always imagine myself living in another country, travelling around the world. I always closed my eyes and felt what was it to be living in a different country, and years later here I am living in a third country, and about to move to my fourth.

So we can say that visualization makes everything possible, it not only pictures in your mind your deepest goals and dreams, but it lets your brain know that those things are possible and real, and your brain provides you with beliefs of success, and that gives you the emotions as if you were already living your dream, and those emotions motivates you to become the best version of yourself, and that way you adopt the right habits and behaviours to make your dreams come true. This way we can see what a great tool visualization is.




Visualize your goals and dreams with all your heart, imagine yourself as already having achieved your goals and dreams, see every detail, caresses the glory, savour every victory and wait for the miracle!

Nourishing Your Mind With Positive Thoughts

We are what we eat and so it is with our mind: we are what we think, depending on how you feed your mind, is what you are going to experience in your life. You can have a positive mind or you can have a negative mind, what makes the difference between one and the other is the choice you make when you feed it and what you decide to consume every day.

What we eat and drink through our mouth on a daily basis has consequences in our body, either short-term or long-term:

  • We can eat spoiled food and feel sick right away or after a few days, or we can get very sick after eating unhealthy food on a daily basis for a long period of time.
  • We can also eat fresh food one day and feel great, or we can eat healthy food daily for a long period of time and feel better and better every day.



Well, with the mind is exactly the same, what we consume on a daily basis through our eyes and ears has consequences in our mind, heart and spirit, either short-term or long-term:

  • We can consume negativity either hearing or watching a self-destructive situation and feel bad right away or after a few days, or we can get very sad and depressed after having consumed negativity for a long period of time in our lives.
  • We can also consume positivity one day and feel awesome, or we can consume positivity on a daily basis for a long period of time and feel happier every day.

Nourishing your mind with positive thoughts, it is as important as nourishing your body with fresh and healthy food, because if we fail to nourish our mind with positive thoughts, affirmations and beliefs, we put in danger our whole existence on this planet, and not because we run the risk dying, because that is something we cannot avoid, but because we run the risk of not having truly lived while we could, and you can never truly live if you carry a negative mind through your lifetime.

In order to nourish your mind, it is necessary avoiding contaminating your spirit with negativity. It can seem harmless, but most of the time it is not. Any negativity you consume every day, regardless of the amount, can have a huge impact in your mind, and if you are not aware of it, you will consume it day after day without realizing the damage that is causing you, and the result will be catastrophic, it will take over your mind, and it will rule your life and you will suffer from all the side effects: depression, sadness, anger and anguish.

Would you go now to the kitchen and eat rotten food for dinner? I guess no, right? Because it will make you feel bad, and you will probably have diarrhea, nausea, fever and you will have to call somebody for help. So, why you read those magazines that poison your mind, and gives you wrong belief about yourself and your life, making you feel miserable? Or why you keep watching that TV show that plants seeds of hatred, wickedness and sadness in your mind? Or why you keep hanging out with those people whom only take out the worst of people included yourself, people whom only speak the language of hate, hopelessness, gossip, racism and evil? Or why you keep wasting your time consuming all the rubbish you see and hear in a TV show, a movie, in a song, or the rubbish you keep reading in Facebook, magazines, and books that only drains the happiness of your heart? If you don’t eat rotten food because it will make you sick, why do you consume all that rubbish that makes you feel bad?


If you feel happy, if you have the life of your dreams, if everything you consume is giving you happiness and peace, keep going that way then, but if you are not, you need to change your diet, and with that I mean what you watch and hear on a daily basis, even if you think that is not making you any damage, because it is probably affecting you in a way or another, as I said before we are what we think and believe, and those beliefs create our behavior, which gives us our perspective and our reality.




If you want to be happy, nourish your mind and soul with positive thoughts, and get rid of all the negativity around you. If you have positive thoughts about you and your life, it will give you positive feelings, and if you have positive feelings, your behavior will be positive, and so your entire reality will be much more positive.

We are our own worst enemy

We are our own worst enemy and most of the time we haven’t even noticed that, because we are too focused on blaming others for our misfortunes, we have the wrong belief that life is our enemy, when in fact our true enemy is oneself.

If you feel that nothing is going right in your life, if you feel that your relationship, your job, career or nothing in your life is going as you wanted, and if you keep pointing fingers to others making them guilty for your failure, thinking that everyone is your enemy, let me tell you something, they are not, or probably they are not your worst enemies, because there is no worst enemy than the one who resides inside yourself.

You are not where you want to be because of you, it is you who is sabotaging your own dreams. No one has the power to control your life but you, because if you truly want something no matter how small or how big if you believe in yourself, you will get it, unless you keep being a victim, letting others take the control of your own destiny.

The problem is not that we have an enemy living inside all of us, but the problem itself is that we make it grow day after day with our thoughts and our lack of trust in ourselves, and when the enemy has grown enough, it ceases to be part of us, because in fact becomes us, and when we become our worst enemy, we no longer have the control of our own life, leaving everything to chance, which most of the time is not in our favor.

When we become our worst enemy, we adopt the victim role, so we accuse life and everyone on it for everything that happens to us, we believe that someone else has the fault, and so we blame others, we blame our past, we blame our dad and mom and brothers and sisters and our entire family, we blame the country in where we live, we blame society, we blame our job, our boss, our colleagues, we blame our school, our teachers, we blame everyone except ourselves because it’s easier for us to accept that someone else has the fault rather than to accept that we have the fault of everything because we haven’t done anything to change our life because we know that it will require a lot of strength, commitment, and courage to create whatever we want to create in our life.

The good news is that life gives you the opportunity to start again, every minute of every hour, you have the opportunity to recreate yourself, and you can decide to stop being your worst enemy and start being your best friend, and you can do this through love, because love is the most wonderful gift we have, love is more powerful than fear, so you can be your worst enemy through fear, insecurities and hate, or you can be your best friend through love what will make you believe in yourself again, giving you the courage, strength and trust you will need to get the life you always wanted, or you can continue being your worst enemy and sabotaging every step of the way to success and blaming others for that.

Remember that you will never get where you want to get if you don’t make peace with yourself, the only way to have the life of your dreams is believing in yourself, and you will never believe in yourself if you are your worst enemy, because you don’t trust your enemies, you trust your friends, so become your best friend, and take back the control of your life, because it’s the only way to change your life, being in control makes you be the creator of your own reality, so you can change your reality at any time you want.

Be your worst enemy and listen every day to that inner voice that says: you can’t do it, you are not good enough, you are pathetic, everyone hate you, a happy life is not for you, you are a coward, you are useless, everyone has the fault for your failure, you’re a loser just accept it and live with that! Or my friend, you can become your best friend, and start loving and believing in yourself, knowing that you are capable of doing anything you want in your life, become your best friend and listen to your heart and soul, that will say to you every day: you are amazing, you can do it, don’t worry try again, you deserve better, you have all the potential you need to make your dreams come true, you have the power to start again, you’re a winner!



You can make yourself a winner or a loser, whether you choose, you are responsible! Let love be your guide not fear, and don’t be your worst enemy and sabotage your own life and dreams, be your best friend and change your whole life experience!

Be careful of your thoughts

Be careful of your thoughts, they control your life, as they have all the power to create your reality. What you see in your life it’s merely a set of thoughts, and that is why people have different realities. Your reality is the product of your thinking.

We are thinking all the time, and how we feel in that moment depends in what is in our mind in that particular moment. Our thoughts can be positive or negative, but never both at the same time, what is going to give us our emotions, and our reality. So how you feel will be the result of what you were thinking. Remember that your thoughts have the power to control your emotions. So you will find that the key to control your emotions lies in your thoughts, if you want to change your reality, change the way you are thinking.

We can divide our thoughts in positive and negative thoughts, where our positive thoughts are those that make us feel good like thoughts of happiness, joy or gratitude, and then we have our negative thoughts that make us feel bad like sadness, anxiety or fear. So we can feel happy or we can feel sad, the choice is made by us depending in our thoughts, if you have positive thoughts you will feel happy, if you have negative thoughts you will feel miserable.

Everything is connected; your thoughts give you your emotions and feelings, what will form your behavior, and what will give your reality. So, to change our life experience, we must change our thinking, we must choose those thoughts based in positive things, so we can have better feelings and good emotions, what will make us to have a better behavior, what will give us a reality full of happiness and joy.

It takes only one thought to change everything, one different thought and you will not only change how you feel in a particular moment, but you will change your whole life experience. It takes only one positive thought to go from sadness to happiness; you just have to say to yourself that no matter what is happening right now, this is not the end, and you will be happy, because you deserve it.

I can say from my own experience that this is not something easy to do, but I can also say that is possible. What we have to do is to control our thoughts, and not let our thoughts to control us, and the easiest way is to open our perspective, so we can see everything in a different way, and understand that what is happening to us is happening for a reason, a reason we must learn to comprehend, so we can learn to see the positive side of it, a positive side that is sometimes hard to see because of our limited perspective.

We must be aware of the power of our thoughts, so we can control it, especially the negative thoughts, otherwise it will control us and it will destroy us. The day we learn how to control our thoughts, we will be capable of choosing a positive thought rather than a negative thought, and so we will decide to be happy at every moment rather than be sad needlessly.

Always remember that your thoughts creates your reality, whatever you are thinking right now is what you are going to experience in your life. The negative thoughts will give you negative feelings, what will give you unfortunate situations, and everything around will seem to be against you, when in fact, is you the one who are against yourself, because you have chosen to have negative thoughts, negative emotions and negative behaviors what gave you your miserable and awful reality. But if you choose positive thoughts, you will have positive emotions and positive behaviors that will give you happy situations what is going to make you feel happy about your life because your reality will be amazing.



Look around you, if you can only see a miserable life, look again, there is always something to be happy for no matter what you are going through, take the negative thoughts away from your mind, and flood your mind with positive thoughts and you will see what you couldn’t see so far.
