Face your Fears!

At least once in our lives we will be challenged to face our fears in order to grow up, evolve, in order to get what we yearn, achieve our goals and make our dreams become a reality. The victory is not guaranteed, but if we let our fears win, if we refuse to leave our comfort zone, if we decide not to pursue our dreams, if we succumb to our fears, one things is guaranteed: Our own defeat and the death of our dreams. Therefore, if we want to make our dreams become a reality we should face all our fears!

Our fears have the ability to paralyze us. They create a burden between us and our dreams. They limit us, they stop us, they steal our hopes, they snatch our dreams. There are many reasons for which most of the people haven’t achieved their dreams and one of them is because of their fears. The fear of the unknown, the fear of losing something, the fear of failure, the fear of what people would think of them if they fail, or if they succeed. These and many other fears that have sabotaged our own dreams.

As I look back into my past I can see how many times I refused to do something I wanted to do, or I gave up a certain goal, or I stopped pursing a special dream and all because of my fears. “What if I can’t do it?” “What if I fail?” “What if I am not good enough?” “What would people think of me if I do it?” “What if I lose?” “What if, what if, what if…” I hear those questions resonating in my head as it was yesterday when I said them. That was not my true self speaking, those words were my fears speaking for me. “What if”: That is how fears start confusing ourselves, that is their language.

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Therefore, in order to face our fears and achieve all our dreams we must first detect when our fears have taken the control of our own minds. Why is important to do that? Because once we detect that our fears are controlling our thoughts, we can quickly take back the control and start thinking for ourselves. If we are not careful our fears will take the control of our minds and they will decide for us, and they will shape our destiny. We should face them and challenge them, and prove them wrong.

Life is like a box of chocolates, there are different shapes, different fillings, different tastes, some are sweet, some are bitter, you can like them all or only a few, but you end enjoying all the box. One thing is certain in this world: Nothing is sure, and you will never know the taste of what is inside the box until you begin to try it. For one moment to another our life could take an unexpected turn, and everything could change. Therefore, if we go safely, if we do not take risks, if we remain in our comfort zone we will never truly end enjoying our lives, we will simple exist, and all our dreams will be buried into oblivion.

“He who is not everyday conquering some fear has not learned the secret of life.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Most of the time our fears are not real. For example: Every time I turn off the light I think something horrible is going to appear, but it never happens. The reason is because what I imagine that is going to happen is not real, it is all in my mind. Our fears are founded by the environment where we were born. It happens with all our fears, and we can overcome them if we are willing to face them.

I was once afraid of spiders, one day I wondered why? Why I am so afraid of something that never did something to me? The problem is that I was programmed to fear them, I decided to overcome that fear, and I faced what I feared the most. It was hard in the beginning, but day after day my fear has started to vanish.

“Each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them. How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.” – Judy Blume

It happened with my fear of living in another country, with another culture and language. My fears tried to stop me, at some point they wanted to protect me, so they wanted me to stay in my comfort zone. One day I woke up, and I said to myself: “You know what, if you are going to fear something, fear the idea of living a miserable life for the rest of your life for not having pursued your dreams.” That day I silenced my fears, and I took the first step in the direction of my dreams. It is when you decide to face them, when your life gets another meaning. Do what you fear the most and grow, improve, reborn, evolve.

All your dreams, all the things you want, all your desires are on the other side of your fears. Don’t let them stop you, don’t let them snatch your dreams, face them, challenge them, and defeat them!

Our Need for Security

One of the things that people constantly seek, either consciously or unconsciously is security. We have the need to feel safe because that guarantees us our survival. Certainty makes us feel comfortable, while uncertainty makes our world tremble, putting us in a place of extreme vulnerability. This need for security can truly guarantee us our very existence, it will make us feel comfortable, it will make us feel safe. But does it really guarantees us freedom, peace, happiness, success and everything we might want in life? Stay with me, and let’s find out together!

"No amount of security is worth the suffering of a mediocre life chained to a routine that has killed your dreams." - Maya Mendoza

We always seek for security because we think that it will give us freedom, we believe that having a lifetime security will mean having a lifetime freedom, a lifetime happiness, or a lifetime success. We think that it will guarantee us true success, we think that we will be free to do everything we love and make all our dreams become a reality. A lifetime security is possible when we choose to live a life inside our comfort zone, a place where we feel safe and at ease.

While living in our comfort zone, can bring us security and give us the idea that we are free, happy and successful, it is in fact only an illusion. Why? because choosing a lifetime security only enslaves us, taking us all our freedom. When we put security as priority over our dreams, that is when we become prisoners of a system that teach us that the only thing that matters is a lifetime security, it told us that dreams are impossible or that they are not worth the risk. So, we look for security in every aspect of our lives: we look for a job security, for a house, a car, and everything that will make us feel safe, we don’t question anything, we simply settle.

“Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth.” – John F. Kennedy

But what is wrong about this? Why is wrong to look for security? what is the problem of living in our comfort zone? There is no problem at all. In fact, it is in our own instincts, it is in our very nature as human beings. The problem only starts when we settle to a life that is far less than the one we are capable of living, limiting our own extraordinary capabilities. The problem is when we achieve a life that gives us security, and that stop us from achieving more. We become so dependent on that life, that we fight to protect it against everything including our own dreams, because our dreams are always a threat to our security.

That is the reason why so many people give up on their dreams. The fear of leaving the place of conformity to enter to unknown territories scares them to the point that they decide to stick to their ordinary life, where they are comfortable and they feel safe. And if you want to achieve the life we have always imagined, if we want to make all our dreams become a reality, we will have to be ready to feel uncomfortable. That place of security will bring us everything we need to survive, but the life we want, and truly deserve, it is only possible outside our comfort zone.

“The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” – Michelangelo

Most of the people who have already achieved their dreams, or those people who are known for being extremely successful, have one thing in common: They were in a place of absolutely uncertainty when they decided to go for their dreams. Therefore, we can see that actually our place of security, our comfort zone is what truly limits us, because it makes us feel safe, so we do not do anything in order to not lose that security we have. It is only when we are in a place of mystery, uncertainty, and discomfort when our true character is shaped. It is in that moment that we become free to become the person we were meant to be and do everything we have always imagined.

May your need for security do not limit you from living the life that you are capable of living. Do not settle for a life that you do not love only because it gives you security. You can, and you will live the life of your dreams if you dare to leave your comfort zone!

Our Greatest Limitations are Found in our Own Minds

There are no bigger limitations than the ones we create with our own minds. All the time, we are limiting ourselves through the limiting beliefs we put in our minds. Those limitations are most of the time an illusion, being the creation of our own thoughts, and they are only real inside the confines of our own minds. In order to achieve your desired dreams and goals, you will have to discover your own limitations, challenge them and exceed them!

"You are confined only by the walls you build yourself." - Andrew Murphy #limitations

Our imaginary limitations are the reason of our failure, if our dreams haven’t become a reality yet is because we have let them to stop us from achieving our desired dreams and goals. It is not our external limitations what makes us fail, but is our own limiting beliefs what really defeat us. The beliefs that we have in our mind about ourselves and life is what gives us our reality. It is our own misconceptions about our potential what truly limit us from achieving our goals.

The problem is that is easier for us to claim that we are being realistic when we say that we can’t do something, when in fact we are only using it as an excuse for not doing the things we would love to do. The truth is, if we haven’t done what we always wanted to do, if we haven’t gotten to the place where we have always wanted to get, if we haven’t reached our true potential or if we haven’t got the things we have always wanted to get is very probable that our own imaginary limitations have stopped us and paralyzed us, and that created our reality; but is not accurate to say that we are being realistic when in fact, what really stopped us was our own created limitations, and not our external circumstances. The problem it is not that we cannot do something, the problem is that we believe it.

“Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.” – Jamie Paolinetti

What I mean is that reality is relative, my reality can be very different from your reality, and I can have the same external limitations as you do, but I could create a different outcome, and what will make the difference is whether I decide to create my own limitations, believe them and let them stop me, or if I’m going to use them as way to improve myself. When you decide that nothing can stop you, you destroy any imaginary limitations about yourself and you recreate your beliefs about who you really are, what gives you the power you need to make everything become a reality.

If the environment in where we find ourselves would be a limiting factor, no one would have never reached their goals. If age, time, money, abilities, other people beliefs about you, criticism, your external appearance, momentary failures, past situations, the place where you have born, or any other condition would be a true limitation then this world only would belong to a few and the rest of us would be condemned to a life of misery, but that is not the true, but unfortunately is what is happening in this world, because most of the people have believed that only a few are touched with a magic wand, and they are the only ones who are able to reach success and touch the glory, we have accepted that concept as real and we gave up, and all thanks to the real limitations which are the ones that we have created with our own limiting beliefs.

“Limitations can only be true as long as we believe in them. Believe in yourself instead. Amazing things will happen.” – Doe Zantamata

There are people who have made their dreams become a reality with less than you have, there are people who have born in poverty, who have born with an illness, there are people who have been through very hard times, and they still have managed to achieve their dreams and goals. It wasn’t a matter of luck but a matter of willingness, and they didn’t let any limitations to stop them. If I have made many of my goals become a reality was because I didn’t let my external circumstances, but specially my own created limitations to stop me. And the key to make all your limiting beliefs disappear is by believing in yourself. There is no stronger force than believing you can reach your goals and desires no matter what obstacles appears in your life.

Discover your own limitations, find the way to exceed them and achieve all your goals and dreams. Because everything is possible for those who dare to dream and never ever give up. No matter how limited you think you are, if you believe you can, and if you never surrender to those limitations and you keep trying you will be victorious!

Beware of Dream Killers

Along the path, through our whole lifetime, we are going to encounter people who are going to say that we can’t do something, they will laugh at our dreams, they will criticize us, they will underestimate our abilities, and they will try to stop us from achieving our goals. These people are dream killers, they will try to convince you that your dreams are impossible, and you’re going to prove them wrong!

“Don't ever let someone tell you, you can't do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they're gonna tell you that you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period.” - Will Smith (Pursuit of Hapyness) #dream #killers

It is not something personal with you, in fact, it has nothing to do with you, but it is something personal with themselves. These people have become dream killers because in some way, someone has made them believe that dreams are impossible to achieve. Another dream killer has made the same fine work with them before, and convinced them that their dreams are impossible, it made them believe that they can’t do it, and they believed it, and so they gave up on their dreams.

But who are these dream killers? In fact, a dream killer it is not only a person but an experience, a feeling, an emotion. Negative people, non-believers, haters, doubters, negative emotions, negative thoughts, fears, doubts, failure, lack of confidence, all of these are dream killers, and if we are not careful they will convince us that we cannot do it, and in that moment we will give up all we have ever dreamed of.

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” – Mark Twain

Therefore, how can you deal with these dream killers? – First, you will have to know that their reality does not have to be your reality. What these people tell you is their own vision, their own perspective about life, their own beliefs, but the truth is you create your own life, and that is all that matters. Second, you can use their negativity and transform it. But, how? Well, you can use it as motivation. You can use it as a powerful fuel, that will explode your heart, making you run with courage and confidence in the direction of your dreams.

Use it as a way to demonstrate them that they were wrong, because at the end, our experience can create miracles in someone else’s life. Therefore, use the sword which they use to try to kill your dreams in their favor, and cut the veil they have in their own eyes. Free them from the ropes that are stopping them from achieving their own dreams. Because if you make your dreams become a reality, perhaps, you can convince them that they can do it too.

“When people seek to undermine your dreams, predict your doom or criticize you, remember that they are telling you their story, not yours.” – Cynthia Occelli

All these dream killers that I mentioned before will try to stop you, they will talk, they will confuse you, but you don’t have to listen to them, but you have to listen to your own heart. If every time you close your eyes, and you think about your dream, your heart sets on fire, then go out and make them happen. You will never regret trying, but you will regret not trying. The truth is if other people could do it, we can do it. Surround yourself with successful people, learn from their mistakes, improve yourself, work hard, and above all always believe one very important thing: That no matter what the dream killers tell you, what matters is what you believe and if you believe you can do it, if you believe in your dream, if you believe in yourself, you will achieve every dream that you propose.

Listen to your own heart, pursue your dreams with confidence, create your own reality, have faith, believe in yourself, and courageously make the impossible possible, and prove all the dream killers that they were wrong!

No Risk, No Win

On the way to make our goals and dreams become a reality we will have to face many risks. Every goal and every dream involves a risk. The decision whether to take certain risks or not will determine either our victory or our defeat. Risks are merely challenges that can push us closer to our dreams. So, are you ready to take the necessary risks and make your dreams become a reality?

"It seems to be a law of nature, inflexible and inexorable, that those who will not risk cannot win." - John Paul Jones

Life itself is a risk; since we are born we face many risks. When we are kids we take risks all the time, even when we are afraid of the unknown we take risks in order to discover, learn and grow, and once we discover what we can achieve by taking risks, we become unstoppable risk takers. The problem when we grow up is that our risks become bigger, and with that our fears become greater, which most of the time paralyzes us, and that is the moment when we cease to move forward in the direction of our dreams, giving up the life we have always wanted.

Risks are scary, and that is the reason why we prefer to avoid them. The truth is we take risks all the time, even without knowing it. The simple act of getting out of bed involves a risk. Every action we take, in a greater or lesser extent, involves a risk. The problem is that our fears are directly proportional to the magnitude of our risks, and when the risk we have to face is enormous, our fears always ends up winning the battle, and all our desires broken into pieces are buried into oblivion.

“The biggest risk is not taking any risk… In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.” – Mark Zuckerberg

Therefore, in order to make our goals and dreams become a reality we will have to take every necessary risk. But, does that mean we should take any risk possible? Well, the answer will depend in our goals and dreams and the type of risk we must take in order to achieve them. If what we can gain by taking a certain risk is higher than what we can lose, then we should go ahead and take it, but if we can lose more than we can win then we should think twice before taking that risk.

The key is to think first, and analyze all the odds. If they are more in your favor than against you, you should try and take the risk, and if you win, you will either make your dream become a reality, or you will be one step closer from achieving it. And in the case that you lose, you will not lose much, and you can always start again and try to do something in a different way in the future.

“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.” – Muhammad Ali

For example: If you want a better life for your family, and you go and bet everything you have in the roulette, it is very likely that you will end losing everything. In this case it is better to not take that particular risk and try a different option. But if you have a better job offer in a different company in a different city, and you are afraid of starting a new life but you really want something better for your family, then you should go ahead and take the risk. In the end, what you can lose will be less than what you will earn even if that risk doesn’t work well for you.

That is why risks are so important, because they are great teachers. They teach us something we didn’t know about ourselves, they teach us to do something we didn’t know before, they teach us to act in a different way, they make us grow, they make us wise, they make us believe, they open doors that were closed and make our dreams and goals become a reality.

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far it is possible to go.” T.S. Eliot

Therefore, if you want to change your life, if you want to achieve a certain goal or make a dream become a reality you will have to take all the necessary steps and take all those risks, where the odds are highly in your favor. Take your time to think about the risk you have to take, analyze the odds, but do not let your mind focus on what can go wrong, but in what can go well. If that dream you have, if that goal you have is what you really want, and if it will be for your own good, the odds will always be in your favor, so don’t think it too much, just take the risk and win!

Are the chances of having a positive outcome high? Could you win more than you can lose if you take the risk? If the answer yes, do not think it again, do not let your fears interfere with your dreams and with confidence just go ahead and take the risk!

Are your fears holding you back?

If you find yourself feeling miserable, making excuses for not having done the things you always wanted to do, it’s probably because you have allowed your fears to control your mind, and when you do that you let your fears to control your entire life.

"A head full of fears has no space for dreams."

Fears are powerful, they can either trigger the greatness inside of you what will make you create the life of your dreams, or they can destroy your spirit and make your life a nightmare. Fears are part of life, there is no way we can avoid them, they exist in every culture and in every place of this world, to a greater or lesser extent they will always be present in the lives of human beings, the kind of impact they will have on us will depend on how well we deal with them.

Fears can hold you back, or can push your forward, what makes the difference between them is whether you choose to control your fears and use them as motivation to become better and better, or use them as a cage where you lock yourself in for the rest of your life. The second choice is always easier because you give your fears the power to control you, while you keep staying in your cage, feeling safe, as you don’t take any risks there, but the first choice is going to give you what your soul yearns for, because your soul knows who you are, and you are not your fears, you are better than that.

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

If you don’t take risks in your life because of your fears you will only risk one thing: the possibility of having the life of your dreams. If you risk nothing, then your risk everything, because you make your life a fortune wheel and you leave everything to chance, and it is in that moment where you give to your fears all the power they need to control your life, and everything you ever wanted, every dream, every goal disappears in the blackness of your fears. If you let them to control you, they will take you all the possibilities you have, to move forward in the direction of your dreams, and you will be stuck in a place of sadness, frustration, anger, disappointment and hopelessness for the rest of your days.

So if you haven’t moved forward in your life, if you haven’t taken any risk for a while, if you haven’t tried anything new, if you haven’t done what you love for a long time, if you haven’t been truly happy enjoying your life to the fullest, if you have been doing only the things you are supposed to do is because you have allowed you fears to control your life, you have no power at all right now, and nothing will change until you realize what is going on. You are where you are now, doing what you are doing because you wanted that way, we cannot condemn anyone for being guilty of your failure, and it is you, and only you, who has let fears to seize you.

“Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live.” – Dorothy Thompson

Despite this, there is good news, you can reverse the situation, and you can still have the life you ever wanted and be happy. To do this, you must stop believing the story you fears have told you, because they always tell you what is going to be wrong instead of telling you what is going to be right if you follow your heart. The problem is they don’t think positively because somehow they want to protect you from any adversity, but what they don’t know is that making you their prisoner only puts you in a place of vulnerability where you are exposed to any adversity. So the best thing you can do is not believing in your fears anymore knowing that what they say is what can go wrong but you know that everything can go great if you choose to follow you heart, and you will prove them wrong.

Everything you ever wanted, every dream, every goal, every idea is possible, they truly exist somewhere outside your fears. If you want to be happy, if you truly want to enjoy your life, you must silence your fears, that way you avoid giving them the power to create your future. Don’t let them to stop you, rather use them as a motivation to demonstrate that they were wrong.

Your life is like a notebook, if you don’t like what you see, turn the page, take your favorite crayons and make a new drawing! You can create anything you want, if you don’t let your fears blind you. Keep moving, keep dreaming and never stop!

Resentment is poison for your life

Resentment is poison for your life, as it’s made with the perfect and lethal combination of fear, disappointment, anger and sadness, and this is one of the best recipes for suffering. If you want to live a happy life, you will have to let go of your resentment.

Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

Resentment is what forbids us to recreate ourselves anew, because it ties us to past situations where we felt humiliated, sad, disappointed or angry, so instead of living in the present, we live tied to our past, and we repeat those past feelings over and over again, even if what we are going through in this present moment doesn’t have any kind of similarity with past situations.

We think resentment is the way to make justice for all those moments where someone made us feel bad with no reason, so we use our resentment as a way to justify our current behavior against life and people. What we most of the time don’t know is that resentment doesn’t punish anyone, but to the person who carries it, because resentment contaminates the heart and soul of those who suffer it.

As smoking is to the lungs, so is resentment to the soul; even one puff is bad for you.” – Elizabeth Gilbert

Resentment puts you limits, because it won’t allow you to be the best version of yourself. Resentment defines you, and makes you act according to what you are not, instead of allowing yourself to be the person you really are. Resentment blurs your vision and shrinks your perspective, gives you wrong beliefs or not allows you to change them, so it can control your feelings, and becomes the leader of your emotions and behaviors.

The problem of living under the control of our resentments is that we experience those unpleasant feelings we felt in the past over and over again, because we are attached to our a past, and so we bring back those feelings to the present, keeping them alive year after year, and when that happens we cannot see with clarity, and so we compare current situations with past situations even though they don’t have any kind of connection between them, and this happens because we are so contaminated with our resentment that we cannot see the difference.

The truth is resentment never helps us in any way, but rather consumes our soul and punishes us with a heavy charge we must carry in our backs through our life, and true peace and happiness cannot be found if we don’t release the weight we carry in ourselves. Once you let go of your resentment you will feel at peace, and you will have back the power to create yourself anew at any moment you wish. You will decide how something will affect you, depending in how you feel at that moment, and you will not be influenced by your past any more, what gives you totally freedom to be who you want to be, and to feel what you want to feel without being influenced by your resentment.

“Bitterness and resentment only hurt one person, and it’s not the person we’re resenting – it’s us.” – Alana Stewart

You may be wondering: how can I let go of my resentment? And according to my experiences, what made me let go of that heavy charge was: Forgiveness. That is the key to release any attachment to any unpleasant situation from your past, what makes you be fully present in this moment, giving you the power to create yourself anew, what gives you the ability to see what is really happening so you can judge a situation according to your beliefs and emotions, what will give you better feelings and a much wider perspective, without letting resentment influence your present.

Resentment will disappear from your life if you forgive your past and those who have hurt you. The best way to do that is by releasing those toxic emotions that are holding you back. Express your emotions and don’t keep them in your heart, open your mouth, express yourself and release them. Your resentment will never let you enjoy your life, it won’t let you see a new reality, so let go of your resentment, and release your soul from any attachment to your past!

Jealousy is a destructive emotion

Jealousy is a destructive emotion and it can only generate destructive outcomes. The truth is jealousy never bring anything good, as it consumes our mind and our reality becomes a nightmare.

"There is no greater glory than love, nor any greater punishment than jealousy." - Lope De Vega

Jealousy is a direct reflection of how we feel about ourselves and our whole life because it shows how much we lack. Jealousy is poison to our spirit and is extremely toxic, as it contaminates our soul and heart. There are many reasons why we are jealous, for my experience I believe that the main reasons are due to our lack of self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-love, and when this happens, we let fear to control our life, and we become insecure, doubtful, anxious, depressed and miserable, everything that jealousy needs to grow every day.

Jealousy has the power to control our thoughts, emotions, actions and our whole life. When jealousy seizes your mind, you lose the control of your own thoughts and emotions, and your perspective which gives your reality, becomes unreal. Jealousy is a disease that causes torment and pain for those who suffer it. Once we let jealousy to control our life, our whole reality becomes a nightmare, and not only for us but for those around us who are also the victims of our jealousy.

Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy – in fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other.” – Robert A. Heinlein

So jealousy is the way we have to defend ourselves against external threats, but in fact the worst threat lies within ourselves, and is called fear, and fear gives us wrong beliefs about life, people and ourselves, and so we live in a fictional reality that makes us to have the emotion that we were trying to avoid: unhappiness.

When you are jealous, you live in a world that is not real, because you don’t see the world with your eyes open, you see it with your eyes covered by your fears, and the reality you see in your mind is most of the time inaccurate, and so are your feelings and emotions.

The truth is jealousy puts us in the place of suffering we were trying to avoid, and we don’t get anything good out of it. Jealousy takes from us any opportunity to be in peace and happy with ourselves, and with everyone around us. No matter the situation, no matter how good your life can be, if you suffer from jealousy, your life will be your worst nightmare, because once jealousy poisons your mind and spirit you will live in a distorted reality, and you will see ghosts and demons where there are only angels, pushing away everything that is good for you.

“Never underestimate the power of jealousy and the power of envy to destroy. Never underestimate that.” – Oliver Stone

Jealousy is the cause why you are not living a truly happy and peaceful life, because it consumes your mind and your life. Every opportunity to achieve your goals, every chance to live the life of your dreams getting what you always wanted, vanishes in the darkness of your fears. If you want to be happy you will have to face your fears and challenge them.

If someone we love leaves us or does something that hurts us, or if we are betrayed or if we can’t get something we always wanted can be very painful but nothing can be more painful as being trapped in a nightmare world created by our mind, poisoned by our jealousy encouraged by our fears, insecurities, doubts and anxieties.

If you know who you really are, what you are capable of achieving, if you know how beautiful and amazing you are, you will never doubt from yourself again, and that my friends, is the first step to remove jealousy from your life. It is something you must work every day, you must learn to love yourself and believe in you, once you do that, you will find peace again and you will see life as it really is.

“You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars.” – Gary Allan

At least that was my experience because one day I decided that in order to be successful I needed to believe in myself, and I found out that my beliefs about me and life were wrong, I underestimate me, and let my past, situations and people to define me, which created insecurity, disgust, anxiety, resentment and fears, and I became dependent of others for being happy, and then I fed my jealousy so much that they took my life, and so I believed in myself, and I took back the control of my own life, and I defeated all fears.

Believe in yourself and be confident about your potential, it is important for you to see it, once you see it, you will not care if others do the same, you don’t have to show nothing to anyone, you are worth, and you know that, so don’t be jealous of no one!

The conqueror of our mind

No fear
We born and we are immediately condemned to a life imprisonment, without having any possibility to appeal, we live our lives as prisoners, victims of our own minds; we let the conqueror of our mind to rule our life.

So we forget who we really are and we start being what the conqueror wants us to be, but what we don’t really know is that actually it doesn’t really exist, it is an invention of our own minds, so we condemn ourselves to a life of suffering and sadness.

And what is that invention that doesn’t exist rather than in our minds? That invention is called FEAR and we create it with our own thoughts, letting it be the driver of our life, the creator of our reality and our destiny.

Everything we think and do is related to fear, what is ironic is that what human beings look most in this life is to be happy, but what we only do is to act based in our fears, and that is why we only find unhappiness, because we run away from anything that can give us happiness.

“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” – Joseph Campbell

So the only way to find happiness is to learn to face the fears, and then push them away from our way, because unhappiness is the result of fears, so while you have it, you will not be able to find happiness, and your dreams will be only dreams for the rest of your life, because you have chosen fear for your life, and dreams can never become a reality if you let fears to control your life.

Fear is lethal, because being alive and walking doesn’t mean that you are not dead inside, because fears consumes your spirit, as you are the results of your fears, and your reality is based on them.

“The only fear we have to fear is fear itself.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Fears are only the sum of wrong belief about everything. Our belief based in our past experiences and the experiences of others have made us to have a wrong idea of what life is really about. Every thought and action that leads us to unhappiness is based on fears, living then in an imaginary reality. We can’t see what is really happening, because fears make us blind, it controls our mind and our life, and makes us be miserable.

“Fear has two meanings: Forget everything and run or face everything and rise. The choice is yours.” – Zig Ziglar

The truth about everything is that fears don’t exist, they are the product of our own mind, fear is only an illusion that we create as a way to protect ourselves from any kind of suffering, which in fact is what creates all the suffering and pain we face every day.

We need to change our belief about life and about ourselves, belief created by society, imposed in our minds and accepted by us which creates all the fears in our life.

We are afraid to die, but we are more afraid to live, we have the concept that life is suffering, so we try to avoid it by not facing what we are afraid of, but in fact we are making those fears a reality. In the end what we don’t want is to suffer, but in fact allowing those fears to become a reality by controlling ourselves, makes us to be unhappy, to suffer and be sad, living in an unreal prison of unhappiness created by us.

“Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live.” – Dorothy Thompson

Once you choose to live without depending on the results of any decision by giving more energy to what you really want rather than giving it all to your fears, and once you face it, knowing that are only an illusion of your mind, you will find true happiness.

So fear nothing, don’t listen to them, fears say nothing more than lies, don’t be afraid of losing something, because being afraid and pushing away everything you want will only make you lose the most wonderful thing we have: The life and the possibility to enjoy it, being truly happy and making any dream a reality.

Face your fears, follow your heart, and set yourself free!
